They Lived Happily Ever After in El Paso, TX

We want to say THANKS from the bottom of our semi-isolated western hearts to

the Brave & Loyal who came to visit us at our first place in El Paso, TX.

This post is to fill the miserable void for those of you who didn't visit us - (ahem... Katie G!)

We moved into our nice cozy apartment April 20, 2010

This is the sidewalk to our front door (Taken in January 2011)

First, here is the front door. You come inside and walk straight up these stairs to our apartment.

Odd, yes. But it's safe having our own private staircase, and hey it also provided tons of Exercise!

Just think, moving all the boxes in... bringing home groceries... moving all the stuff down and out!

Then at the top of the stairs you saw this over the course of our life here...

our luxurious dinning table for a couple months....

And at Christmas, it held Eric's real tree which he couldn't live without.

And our happy little entry table with our creative key tree (which I personally love).

Next, is the living room and Solarium (which is what we changed into our dinning area).

Here is only picture of the kitchen I can find - this was on Eric's Birthday.

Then there is the hallway to the bathroom, Master and 2nd bedroom/office/Eric's Garage.

I also can't forget PERSEPHONE!!!

She is not our cat, but many times desperately tried to be. She loved scoping out our apartment especially when we were in the process of packing... Who would blame her? Her owner only yelled her name at the top of his lungs every other morning at 3am!!

In the hallway, we hung this collage of wedding photos.

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the part of the room that was Eric's "Garage".

But just believe me - it was a garage.

FYI: this desk only took us 6 hours to assemble - not sure if that is normal or not.

The view out our front door on the weekends was mostly this - Eric grilling.
